Basketbol oyunları rekabetinde NBA Live’ın önünde yer alan, üstelik NBA Live’ın PC’yi terk etmesiyle bu platformu da hakimiyeti altına alan NBA 2K serisi, Draft Combine ile ağzımıza bir kaşık bal çalmıştı.
Kendi basketbolcumuzu yaratıp NBA 2K10’da draft olma şansı yakalayabileceğimiz oyun, ne yazık ki oyun süresi açısından tatmin edici değildi. Şimdiyse esas oyunun, NBA 2K10’un demosu geldi ve oyunu test etme şansım oldu. Öncelikle NBA 2K10’un demosu, her yıl olduğunu gibi son final maçını, yani Los Angeles Lakers ile Orlando Magic takımları arasındaki mücadeleyi içeriyor. Maçı sadece bir periyot boyunca oynayabilmemizse yine üzücü bir kısıtlama. Buna rağmen Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard ve Vince Carter gibi yıldızların tadına bakabilmek, bu üzüntüyü biraz olsun azaltıyor. Maça geçtiğimizdeyse…
Yine her yıl yapılan bir kısıtlama, bu yılki demoda da sürüyor. Oyunun demosunda hiçbir taktik opsiyonu açık değil ve bu yüzden paldır küldür bir maç oynuyoruz. Sanırım 2K Sports’un amacı, oyunun sadece temelini denememiz, ayrıntılara takılmamamız. Kabul. Maça başlar başlamaz fark ettiğim ilk şeyse atmosfer oldu. NBA Live 10’un demosunu oynadıktan sonra NBA 2K serisinin en büyük eksiğini hatırlayıvermiştim: Atmosfer. Yapımcılar da bunun farkındalar ki atmosfer konusunda fazlasıyla çalışmışlar. Artık tribünlerden sadece anlamsız bir gürültü çıkmıyor, salonda sürekli bir aksiyon yaşanıyor. Çalan müzikler, pozisyonlara tepki veren veya tek başına bağırıp dikkat çekebilen taraftarlar, maç başa başken savunma tezahüratları; bunların hepsi, atmosferi oldukça iyi bir seviyeye çekiyor ki bu da NBA 2K serisinin büyük bir açığının kapanmasını sağlamış.
